Meet Baki!

Baki is a 2-year-old male German Shepherd with excellent manners, sharp intelligence, and a heart full of potential. Baki is an owner surrender with a strong work ethic and is highly motivated by both food and toys. His obedience includes place, sit, heel, stay, and come.

Baki is good with children, female dogs, and select males. Though he’s spent much of his life in a rural environment, he’s eager to experience more of the world and would benefit from continued socialization.

He’s been trained in explosives detection (5-odor high explosives) and has successfully worked on BSD walls and boxes, bags, vehicles, and open areas.

Despite his professional training, Baki isn’t limited to a working role — he would make a wonderful companion for an active family or individual looking for a loyal and engaging pet.

For adopters interested in putting his skills to professional use, a CA POST Detection Course is offered to certify him for law enforcement or private sector work.
