Meet Maisy!

Maisy is a beautiful young female German Shepherd, just over a year old, with a bright personality and plenty of energy to match. This young lady comes from a surrendered pregnant mama. Maisy was the only pup to not find herself a home. BUT she's eager to learn and highly motivated by both food and toys. Her obedience includes place, sit, heel, stay, and come.

Maisy is good with children, female dogs, and select males. Having spent much of her early life in a rural environment, she would benefit from continued socialization and exposure to new settings.

She has been trained in explosives detection (5-odor high explosives) and has successfully worked BSD walls and boxes, bags, vehicles, and open areas.

For adopters interested in utilizing her training professionally, a CA POST Detection Course is offered to certify her for law enforcement or private sector work.
